Spread the Aloha

This beautiful Hawaiian greeting means both hello and goodbye. But it also means in love and fellowship

We can’t think of a better way to show our solidarity with the residents of Lahaina, Maui, following the devastating wildfires, than to spread the aloha: That’s why 100% of the the proceeds from “From Paper to Pen to Page: Hand Bind a Journal and Unearth Your Authentic Voice,” the second Soolip and Authentic Voice collaboration, will go toward helping the residents of Lahaina on their long road to recovery.

Every element of the workshop—designed by my dear friend and Soolip founder Wanda Wen and I—will honor the beauty of Maui: from the ocean blues and teals of Wanda’s hand-dyed papers and ribbons to the guided visualizations and journaling prompts that will reconnect us with nature and call forth our authentic voice. We’ve thought of everything, right down to tasty island treats.

Join us. Let’s show Lahaina some love.

Mahalo,

Jen and Wanda

P.S. THIS JUST IN! We’ve just opened up “From Pen to Paper to Page” for remote participation!. We’re calling residents of all 50 states to join us on Zoom at 10am PACIFIC on Saturday, September 30th while our in-person attendees attend live from Soolip’s studio in Westlake Village. We’ve thought of everything to ensure our virtual participants will enjoy every aspect of the workshop experience: you’ll receive a care package in the mail one week prior so that you have everything you need at your fingertips: handmade papers, ribbon of your choice, writing utensils, decorative materials, and even some delicious Maui treats to set up your environment with intention (we’ll keep you guessing on those for now)! Remote participants must register by September 9 so that we have time to offer you your paper options and mail out your care package.
