Why S E E D?
S E E D is more than a retreat—it’s a stepping stone to living more authentically. It’s about shedding the unnecessary and planting new, vulnerable spaces in the head, heart, body, and soul for joy, play, and creativity. It’s about reconnecting to your essence.
This retreat is designed for those ready to:
Process the stories you’ve been waiting to let go of and reconsider stored emotions
Revitalize your body and mind through mindfulness and movement
Reconnect with your inner wisdom and creative life force
Your Guides:
Wanda Wen, Founder of Soolip and a Hatha yoga instructor RYT-500, will lead you through a gentle yoga session to greet your day, re-centering Self and aligning your body. She will then guide you to access your imagination, connecting head, heart, and hands through the creation of a hand bound journal.
Jen Dohr, Founder of Authentic Voice, will guide you to inner knowing, clarity, and fearlessness through her five-step guided visualization and freewriting method she created over twenty-five years as an educator.
What to Expect:
Intention Setting: Begin with exploring a personal intention, letting go of the shoulds and stepping into expansiveness. Allow the urge to just be here.
Creativity at Play: Dive into the world of bookbinding and fine papers in this journal-making session working with a collection of tactile and creative ingredients — handmade papers, hand-dyed ribbons, pressed flowers, and vintage stamps — for a visually-beautiful, sensory experience resulting in a vessel to capture your intimate thoughts and dreams. This hands-on experience honors your creativity and the joy of crafting something truly personal.
Yoga and Movement: Move mindfully through a heart-opening Level 1 Hatha Yoga session outside, surrounded by nature. Gently invigorating, our time on the mat will be focused on restorative yoga practices, serving to ease the body and settle the mind. No previous yoga experience required.
Mine Your Truth: Come be bold on the page. Learn to journal from your subconscious, allowing the quiet voice within to surface. This is a time for personal exploration and clarity surrounding what truly matters to you. You’ll uncover your authentic voice, on the page and in your life, as each step in the writing process brings you closer to a reunion with your full self.
Human Connection: Throughout the day, our activities will be integrated with opportunities to connect with one other as we build community. You are invited to share your experiences and insights in a supportive group, revealing our universal humanity and breaking the illusion of separateness.
Nourishment: Enjoy a light breakfast, snacks, and a full lunch prepared to energize and uplift throughout the day. All foods are organic, with an emphasis on whole foods. Herbal teas and healthy drinks will also be available.
Investment:
Standard Tuition: $485
Early-Bird Special: Closed
